Robby The Robot 1/5 Scale Talking Figure 1984 Masudaya 1983

This is an approximately 16 inch tall Robby The Robot from the 1956 MGM Sci Fi classic FORBIDDEN PLANET. This is the original 1983 release by MASUDAYA of Japan. The ST number is T1030901. The artwork is the original orange & blue that came with the very first issue.The robot is 1/5 scale. It features 2 different sets of hands (graspers & pinchers). It also features a number of clear parts for the Head (16 pieces). These pieces are still on the sprues. The front faceplate is a seperate piece that snaps on.This is unbuilt in the original box with the original styrofoam. This has been tested. The voice box works great. The light does not work and may need to be replaced. This looks like a simple fix for someone who is knowledgeable in toy repair. He utters one of 3 different phases. They are :

Everything is complete. The instruction sheet is also includ ed. The robot is molded in a brown metallic plastic. The hand pieces are also molded in ths color. The faceplate has some scuffing and is yellowing on the edges, it is otherwise clear. The pieces are clear as they have never been removed.
