Federal period c.1835. With repoussé floral pattern and  gilded interior. Raised on three legs. Monogram gothic U over script  JB.

William L. Adams began silversmithing c.1831 and moved to Troy, NY, 1844-50. Mark was "W. ADAMS" and "NEW pellet YORK" both marks in a rectangular milled border.
